Us
Fine Arts Academy is located in the heart of Provo Utah, beautifully
situated between the Wasatch Mountains and 250-square mile Utah Lake.
The mountains surrounding Provo provide good hiking, mountain biking,
and fishing opportunities among beautiful alpine scenery. In winter
there is downhill and cross-country skiing at Sundance Ski Resort,
owned by Robert Redford. Also near town, is the Mt. Timpanogos Cave
National Monument and Bridle Veil Falls. Many golf courses and recreational
activities are available.
Provo
is located in the middle of the state, just off I-15, about 45 miles
south of Salt Lake City. It is one of the several cities that form
a sprawling urban area along the western base of the Wasatch Mountains
(the "Wasatch Front"). The school is located inside Fine
Arts Dental Lab on University Avenue in a "state of the art",
newly built medical building, surrounded by high-end dental practices.
It is on the top floor with huge windows and a tremendous view of
the mountains and the campus of Bringham Young University. The address
is 1355 North University Ave suite 340. University Avenue is one road
west of Lavell Edwards Stadium and is the road that leads to Provo
canyon.
Fine Arts Academy is partnered with Fine Arts Dental Lab which has been established since 1983. For the past 20 years, Fine Arts Dental Lab has been placing smiles on clients' faces and on patients' as well. Fine Arts is committed to updating their office with the latest technology, techniques, and training. They are leading the way in implant and cosmetic dentistry and some of their clients have been with them for more than 20 years.
Patrick W. Shumway - Owner, governing board member, administrator, and instructor. Owner of parent company Fine Arts Dental Lab LLC. Over 24 years of experience in dental lab technology and over 16 years experience in ownership of dental lab.
Christopher M. Thompson - Owner, governing board member, administrator, and instructor. Over 6 years of experience in dental lab technology.
Corinne Shumway - Owner and administrator. Owner of parent company Fine Arts Dental Lab LLC. Over 16 years of experience in business ownership, managing, and administration.
Brittany Thompson - Owner and administrator. Over 4 years of experience in business management and administration.
Andrew Marx - Instructor. 2 1/2 years of experience in dental lab technology
All employees of Fine Arts Dental Lab are subcontracted instructors for Fine Arts Academy, with years of experience in dental lab technology.
